Short chain fatty acids are best for fat loss (especially on the ketogenic diet). However, you can only get them through particular foods. Eating a diet full of vegetables and fruit high in fiber will produce friendly gut bacteria which promotes the making of short chain fatty acids. Unfortunately, many keto diets are dirty and don't recommend these nutrient-dense foods. If you're on a keto diet, be sure to get plenty of vegetables and berries.
